The piston accumulator consists in particular of two Chambers, one of which is filled with gas under appropriate pressure and the second is connected to the hydraulic circuit.
The gas pressure shall be chosen in relation to the working conditions of the accumulator and represents the precharge pressure.
The piston accumulator consists of a steel cylinder, closed at both ends, in which an aluminium-tight piston flows.
This divides the inside of the cylinder into two Chambers, one occupied by the precharge gas and the other by oil or, in general, fluid from the system
